Manual Lymphatic Drainage Including Pre & Post op Lymphatic Drainage
I first certified for lymphatic drainage in 2019, and went on to certify in pre and post op lymphatic drainahe techniques. I am also currently undergoing (Due to finish in May/June) the most up to date methods of manual lyphatic drainage using FG-MLD, This also covers lymphedema of arms and legs and how to provide a management plan for these. I have a range of experience working with a variety of surgical clients from tummy tucks, BBLs and lipo and many other cosmetic surgeries.
Manual lymphatic drainage massage is often recommended pre and post surgery. Whether its cosmetic or medical. It aids in healing, reducing swelling, bruising and reducing the risk of seroma. Its highly recommended to have at least one lymphatic drainage before your surgery to set your body in good stead for recovery.
After your surgery you are often recommended to start this within the first few days, amounts of sessions needed varies depending on the surgery that is done, and the individual. Its recommended to book at least 5\10 to ensure best results. For this reason under memberships you can purchase a package for a s discount. These can be used within 6 months. It is a gentle massage - NOT a regular massage. Gently easing fluid to the main lymph nodes and clearing those to make way. As healing progresses other forms of massage may be utilised to aid in scar recovery and reduce the risk of fibrosis. Again, when the happens is very individual from person to person. I strongly recommend you book your post op lymphatic massage before you undergo surgery so that treatment can begin as soon as possible (within your surgical teams recommendations of course)
Lymphatic Drainage massage isn't just for those who have undergone surgery, many people come to aid in helping them feel better, reduce bloating or just to relax. It has many benefits for different people.

Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage With Wood Therapy
COMING SOON!!
Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage differs from traditional lymphatic drainage as it is faster paced and used more for 'sculpting' Its popularly used to promote a more defined and contoured appearance, especially around the waist and abdomen. Combines with wood therapy (maderotherapy) it can aid in reducing puffiness, improving circulation, promote relaxation, enhance the appearance of the skin by reducing water retention and encouraging healthy tissue turn over. In certain cases support surgical recovery (when appropriate). Wood therapy uses specially designed wooden tools to stimulate circulation and encourage lymph flow. The mechanical pressure from the tools can aid in reducing muscle tension and improve the skin tone.
Many use this as a sculpting technique, however this is not a fat loss method, but can aid in creating a more sculpted appearance.
Its the perfet treatment fir those seeking a non-invasive way to feel lighter, improve skins appearance and support overall wellbeing.
